Softball Canada
Softball Canada (officially the Canadian Amateur Softball Association) is a not-for-profit national sport organization responsible for governing and promoting the sport of softball in Canada. It is recognized by the Government of Canada as the national governing body, and functions under a board elected by provincial and territorial softball associations. Softball Canada oversees six national teams (for both men’s and women’s age categories) and runs programs for coach and umpire development, youth introduction (e.g. Learn to Play, CanPitch), and long-term athlete development. The organization also implements policies related to ethics, inclusion, gender equity, anti-doping, discipline, and access, with a commitment to ensuring fair and inclusive participation.
