New Brunswick Mining Association

The New Brunswick Mining Association (NBMA), re-established in strategic partnership with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), is an organization dedicated to strengthening New Brunswick's mining sector and its associated supply chains. As mining investments increase in the province, the NBMA serves to help domestic manufacturers and suppliers, especially small and mid-sized firms, navigate complex procurement processes. By connecting government, prime contractors, and the domestic manufacturing network, the association aims to build capacity, improve the visibility of local industrial capabilities, and support Canadian firms in successfully competing within the mining ecosystem.

To achieve these goals, the NBMA focuses on multifaceted initiatives including industry coordination, training, program delivery, and supply chain matchmaking. The organization supports Tier 2 and Tier 3 manufacturers with the tools and knowledge needed to meet the evolving demands of the mining industry while advocating for sustainable practices, an attractive investment climate, and indigenous economic partnerships. Ultimately, the NBMA seeks to protect and create high-quality jobs, accelerate innovation, and strengthen domestic supply-chain resilience throughout New Brunswick.
