Law enforcement is built on service, trust and teamwork. But the people doing that work also need places to connect with one another, share experience and build stronger professional communities.
That is part of the opportunity behind Manitoba Women in Law Enforcement (MWLE), a new organization established in 2026 with the support of the Manitoba Association Chiefs of Police.
Led by Patrol Sergeant Jody Rogers of the Winnipeg Police Service, MWLE brings together board members from agencies across the province and beyond, including Brandon Police Service, Canada Border Services Agency, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Manitoba First Nations Police, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Winnipeg Police Service.
That breadth matters.
Different agencies may have different mandates, uniforms and jurisdictions, but meaningful professional communities are often built around what people have in common. MWLE is creating a place where women working in law enforcement can strengthen those connections across organizational boundaries.
Where connection happens.
Starting an association also means creating the infrastructure that helps a community stay organized and accessible.
Behind the scenes, Members Village will help MWLE connect its website, member information, forms and member portal so the organization can spend less time managing disconnected processes and more time supporting the people it was created to serve.
We’re pleased to welcome Manitoba Women in Law Enforcement to Members Village and to support the organization as it builds its digital home and its growing community.
