Paramedics spend their working lives showing up for people when it matters most. The Alberta Paramedic Association exists to make sure the people behind that work have a professional community showing up for them, too.
The Alberta Paramedic Association is a representative association serving the interests of paramedics in their professional practice. Its work brings paramedics together around connection, advocacy and leadership, while supporting the knowledge, skills, health and wellness of the profession.
That distinction matters. The Association is not Alberta’s regulator or bargaining agent. Its role is to represent and strengthen the practitioner, helping create a place where paramedics can connect, share knowledge and participate in shaping the future of their profession.
Making the professional home easier to navigate
A professional community becomes more valuable when people can easily find what they need and stay connected to what is happening.
That can mean managing a membership, discovering an upcoming event, reading an important update or finding the next career opportunity. Each interaction may be small, but together they shape how connected a member feels to their association.
Behind the scenes, Members Village will help bring those experiences together through one connected platform, making it easier for the Alberta Paramedic Association to manage information and easier for members to engage with the organization.
The new Members Village platform is planned to launch in Q4 2026.

A strong member community needs reliable information behind it. Member Management will give the Association a connected place to maintain member records and reduce the friction of managing information across separate systems.

The portal will give members a clear place to manage their relationship with the Association and access information relevant to them — creating a more useful professional home whenever they sign in.
Job Portal
Career opportunities are already an important resource offered by the Association. The new Job Portal will make it easier to connect paramedics exploring their next opportunity with organizations looking for skilled professionals.
Events + Articles
Events create opportunities to participate; articles help knowledge travel further. Bringing both into the same platform will make it easier for the Association to keep members informed, share useful resources and create more reasons to return and stay connected.
