Basketball Canada
Canada Basketball is the national governing body for amateur basketball in Canada, recognized by both FIBA and the Canadian government. It provides leadership, coordination, and direction for all basketball activities across the country, representing diverse stakeholders including provincial/territorial organizations, players, coaches, officials, and community groups.
Canada Basketball organizes national championships, supports national team programs, and delivers development pathways for athletes, coaches, and officials. It also promotes equitable and inclusive access to the sport through its Canada Basketball Foundation, which funds programming aimed at reducing barriers to participation and strengthening grassroots basketball.
